Clear Estimates Based on the Actual Work
The following ranges are provided only to help customers understand the possible cost of professional tree work. They are not guaranteed quotes. Final pricing may fall above or below these ranges depending on the specific conditions of the project.
Typical range: $250–$1,200+
Pricing depends on the size and number of trees, the type of pruning requested, climbing or rigging requirements, access, nearby structures, and the amount of cleanup involved.
Pruning may include deadwood removal, structural pruning, canopy raising, clearance pruning, and selective thinning where appropriate.
Typical range: $500–$3,500+
Small, straightforward removals with good access may fall near the lower end of the range. Large, hazardous, storm-damaged, or difficult-to-access trees may cost considerably more.
Trees exceeding approximately 75 feet, trees requiring extensive rigging, or trees located close to buildings, utilities, or other obstacles require an individual estimate.
Typical range: $350–$1,000+
The cost of storm cleanup depends on the amount of debris, urgency, tree condition, access, equipment requirements, and whether trees or limbs are resting on structures, vehicles, fences, or utility lines.
Emergency tree removal may begin around $750 and increase based on the hazards and complexity involved.
Custom estimate
Clearing projects vary considerably based on acreage, vegetation density, terrain, access, disposal requirements, and the size of the trees or brush involved. An on-site evaluation is generally required before pricing can be provided.
When several trees can be completed during the same visit, bundled pricing may be available. Combining work can sometimes reduce travel, setup, equipment, and cleanup costs.
Discounts are not automatic and depend on whether completing the projects together creates meaningful efficiencies.
The cost of tree work may be influenced by:
Tree size, species, and condition
Number of trees involved
Proximity to houses, fences, driveways, and utility lines
Climbing, rigging, and equipment requirements
Steep or uneven terrain
Limited backyard or gate access
Amount of brush, wood, and debris
Cleanup and hauling preferences
Travel distance
Urgency and storm-related hazards
Your estimate will describe:
The trees or areas included
The recommended work
Cleanup and debris-removal arrangements
The estimated project price
Any important access or site requirements
Additional work will not be added without discussing it with the customer.
All prices shown on this page are general guidelines only and do not constitute an offer, contract, or guaranteed quote.
A final price can only be provided after BlueRidge ArborWorks LLC has evaluated the trees, property conditions, access, hazards, cleanup requirements, and requested scope of work.
Tell us about your trees and the work you are considering. We’ll review the project and contact you to arrange an on-site evaluation.
